TERMS OF SERVICE & AUTHOR AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Author", "Client", or "You") and Tiger Logic Publishing ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms govern your access to our website (tigerlogicpublishing.com), your submission of manuscripts, and any publishing services rendered by our team.

By engaging our services, signing a Project Scope of Work (SOW), or paying a project deposit, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must discontinue the use of our services immediately. We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms periodically. Continued engagement with Tiger Logic Publishing following any published amendments constitutes your formal acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Scope of Services

Tiger Logic Publishing provides professional, author-centric publishing solutions customized according to each individual author agreement, including but not limited to:

• Book Writing & Ghostwriting: Narrative outlining, weekly author interviews, transcription, chapter drafting, and developmental polishing.
• Book Editing & Proofreading: Developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, fact-checking, and final proofreading sweeps.
• Book Illustration & Design: Custom 3D covers, character illustration, children's book interior layouts, typesetting, and print formatting.
• Book Publishing & Global Distribution: ISBN assignment, copyright registration guidance, barcode generation, Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, and worldwide print-on-demand setup.
• Audiobook Production: Voice actor auditions, narration recording, studio audio mastering, and Audible/iTunes distribution.
• Book Marketing & PR: Amazon advertising management, author central optimization, press releases, social media book promotion, and bestseller campaigns.

3. 100% Author Ownership & Intellectual Property

Our work-for-hire model guarantees that any ghostwritten content, customized illustrations, editorial revisions, or cover artwork created for you under a paid contract become your exclusive property. All publishing platform accounts (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark) are configured in your name with direct bank deposit credentials.

4. Editorial Milestones, Client Approvals & Revisions

To ensure total artistic satisfaction, projects proceed through structured sequential milestones. You will have dedicated review periods to examine draft deliverables:

• Milestone Sign-Off: Once you review and approve a phase (such as Outline Approval or Cover Design Finalization), work on the subsequent phase begins.
• Revision Cycles: Each service package includes predefined revision rounds specified in your Project Proposal to fine-tune tone, pacing, or artwork nuances.
• Communication: Prompt author feedback is critical to maintaining publishing deadlines. Delays in approvals exceeding thirty (30) calendar days may result in schedule adjustments.

5. Fees, Invoicing & Payment Terms

All project fees are established upfront in writing within your personalized Service Proposal. We maintain zero hidden fees. Payments are typically structured in manageable milestone installments. Work on any milestone commences only upon receipt of the agreed deposit or milestone invoice.

6. Author Warranties & Originality

The Author represents and warrants that:

• They possess all necessary rights and authorizations to contract for the manuscript and materials provided.
• The materials supplied do not violate any existing copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights of any third party.
• The work does not contain defamatory, libelous, unlawful, or plagiarized content.

7. Limitation of Liability & Industry Disclaimers

While Tiger Logic Publishing utilizes industry-proven bestseller launch frameworks, algorithmic advertising strategies, and premium editorial standards, book sales and consumer reception depend on external market dynamics. Consequently, we cannot guarantee specific unit sales, commercial revenue quotas, or sustained retail rankings.

In no event shall Tiger Logic Publishing's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to this agreement exceed the total fees actually paid by the Author for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
