Welcome to Tiger Logic Publishing, where we collaborate to develop your book publishing ideas.

TRANSPARENT REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

We strive for 100% author satisfaction through structured milestone approvals, transparent deliverables, and fair cancellation terms. Understand your refund protections below.

Effective Date & Last Updated: October 19, 2026

At Tiger Logic Publishing, we are committed to providing world-class publishing, editing, ghostwriting, illustration, and marketing services. Because author services involve dedicated allocations of senior creative personnel (award-winning authors, master illustrators, and senior editors), this Refund Policy outlines our procedures for project cancellations, revision cycles, and refunds.

1. Our Satisfaction Commitment

Before considering a cancellation or refund, we encourage authors to communicate directly with their Senior Project Director. Our service contracts include dedicated revision cycles designed to fine-tune manuscripts, tone, narrative arcs, and cover aesthetics to your exact artistic vision. In the event of creative differences, we will re-assign your project to an alternate genre specialist at no extra charge.

100% Risk-Free Pre-Initiation Guarantee

If you submit payment or a project deposit and decide to cancel within forty-eight (48) hours before any creative work, writer onboarding, or editorial analysis has commenced, you are eligible for a full 100% refund (minus standard merchant credit card processing fees).

2. Pre-Work Cancellation (Within 48 Hours)

We understand that project circumstances can change rapidly. Requests submitted before project assignment are honored promptly without questions or hesitation.

3. Milestone-Based Pro-Rated Refunds

Once your project has officially kicked off, services are structured into sequential milestones (e.g., Outline Phase, Chapter Draft 1, Developmental Edit Sweep, Final Cover Artwork, KDP Distribution Setup). Refunds for in-progress projects are calculated according to the milestone status:

  • Uncommenced Milestones: If you elect to pause or discontinue a multi-phase project, any pre-paid amounts allocated toward milestones that have not yet been initiated will be refunded in full.
  • Active In-Progress Milestones: If a cancellation occurs while a specific milestone is midway through execution, a fair pro-rated calculation will be conducted reflecting the hours and deliverables already generated.
  • Approved Milestones: Once a deliverable or milestone has been reviewed, approved, or signed off by the Author, the fee associated with that milestone is considered earned and non-refundable.

4. Custom Intellectual Work

Because custom ghostwriting, custom digital paintings, audiobook voice narration, and editing are bespoke intellectual services tailored specifically to your unique story, labor expended cannot be retrieved. However, in any cancellation settlement, you retain 100% full ownership and copyright of all completed work, chapter drafts, outlines, or illustrations delivered up to the cancellation date.

5. Non-Refundable Costs & Fees

The following categories are strictly non-refundable once disbursed:

  • Third-party direct costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., official Bowker ISBN registrations, Library of Congress copyright filing fees, paid Amazon PPC advertising spend).
  • Third-party platform account activation fees paid to external distributors.
  • Rush delivery charges or expedited turn-around surcharges requested by the Author.
  • Projects that have achieved complete final sign-off and files released for worldwide distribution.

6. How to Submit a Refund Request

To request a cancellation or refund, please submit a formal written request containing your project title, invoice number, and explanation of circumstances:
